Social Enterprise

Literature defines social responsibility as an ethical framework and suggests that an entity, be it an organization or individual, has an obligation to act for the benefit of society at large. It's the notion that businesses should balance profit-making activities with activities that benefit society. A social enterprise is an organization that exists for a social purpose and is not profit orientated. Social enterprises are defined as organizations that address a basic unmet need or solve a social or environmental problem through a market-driven approach. It’s easy to see that a social enterprise has a focus on social responsibility. Logistics is our foundation, but our focus is workforce development.
